K800i Flashing Time
Got bored and still craving for the K850i, I decided to reflash my outdated firmware on my K800i with the latest K810i Firmware and Mainware. On the last step, if anyone else is interested to go my guide on how to do so and Google the key words below to get what you want.

Tutorial: Flash your K800i to a K810i
In this tutorial I will show you how to mod your Sony Ericsson K800i into a K810i by replacing the original firmware, lets get started.
Step 1
This step is recomended because you will wipe all your data when you flash your device, but this software will back it up so you can easily restore it when you have completed flashing.
Download MyPhone Explorer from this link, install and launch it. Now do these steps to create a backup.
Connect your phone and select Phone Mode on your mobile and go into File > Connect and follow the steps and sync your mobile. Now go to Extras > Create Backup, save it to location and check the things you want to backup.
Step 2
Disconnect your phone and turn it off. Download XS++ from here and load it up, now, if you, like me live in the UK, then download the file below.
If you don’t live in the UK, you can find your phones Flash System from this forum.
Load up XS_.exe and click on Connect, and you will get instructions on how to connect on the left hand side, when it is connected download this file to your desktop and make your window look like myne below by selecting the .fnb file you downloaded into the ‘Flash File System’ checkbox.
Now, click on Flash and wait untill it is done. Remove your phone and remove the battery, then put the battery back in and don’t turn it on.
Step 3
Now connect your phone to XS++ like you did in Step 2 and this time check the ‘Customize Filesystem’ box, check K800 as your phone model, and choose your region that matches your firmeware, in my case, Europe 3.
Click on Flash like below.
After it is done, disconnect your phone, remove the battery, put it back in and don’t turn it on.
Step 4
Like Step 2, reconnect your phone to XS++ like you did before and this time downloaded the file below
Again, if you don’t live in the UK, you can find your phones Main System from this forum.
Select the .mbn file under the ‘Flash Main Firmware’ checkbox. Make your window like myne below.
Click on Flash and wait untill it is done. Again, disconnect your phone take the battery out, put it back in, and this time turn it on.
Step 4
Turn on your phone and your phone will say ‘Please Wait’ for about 1 miniute then your new K810i is working, notice the new theme?
You should have signal. Now to restore your contacts and messages etc, plug your phone in and select Phone Mode, load up MyPhone Explorer again and click on File > Connect, then go to Extras > Restore Backup like below.
Done! Disconnect and you’ve got a fully working K810i! Have a look round for the cool new features, enjoy. For some improvments for your K810i, check my other post here. Please leave a comment and post any erros so I can give a fix.
Note: I am not held responsiable for any damage that may occur while doing this flashing process. If you have problems connecting your phone to your computer after the flash, download these drivers.

To Connect
Turn of the phone.
Click on ‘Connect’ on XS++
Hold down C on the phone and connect via USB and release C.
Then click on FSX at the bottom of XS++
How to install
For Sound: Move all the files to “IFS\Settings\Acoustoic”
For Camera: Move camdriver0.dat to “IFS\Settings\Camera”

K800i > K810i
I’ve flashed my Sony Ericsson K800i to a K810i and it is so awsome! It took me a while to get it perfect but now I have got it just right, I’ve also added modded camera and sound drivers to make the camera quality sharper and it uses all 3.2MP and the sound is louder and clearer on music and calls, so yeah pretty cool! Pictures coming soon!
